What is Children's Line?
A line march for children done to an original march tune. While the children march slowly in unison starting with the right foot forward, they display a series of four hand gestures, four beats each, depicting four times of the day--Morning, Afternoon, Evening, and Nighttime.

Afternoon-Children's Line

Gesture Sequence: four beats each and then repeat
1. Morning Gesture: One, two, three, four
Children raise arms above head in unison and spread them downward to their waist, depicting the rising sun and morning routines.
2. Afternoon Gesture: One, two, three, four
Children pump arms in unison as if jogging depicting outdoor play
3. Evening Gesture: One, two, three, four
Children make jazz hands together depicting the business of evening meal, homework, and bedtime.
4. Nighttime Gesture: One, two, three, four
With palms together, children hold them against right cheek depicting sleep and sweet dreams.
