MVP*: Magellan Voyage Project: screenplay summary (pdf)

A challenge: “To become the youngest person to travel around the world alone, using surface transportation only (no flying allowed).”If you complete the circumnavigation in forty days or less, MVP will award you $4,000,000.”

Adam Story, age 12, accepts the challenge from Prince Olioli Oh, producer of MVP: Magellan Voyage Project, and thus begins an extreme forty day journey that takes him across three continents by bus, car, truck, and train, and two oceans by ferry, container ship, and the Queen Mary 2. However, Adam is not alone. When he meets Meredith Emerson, also 12, on an Amtrak train out of Chicago, he learns that he’s part of the Great Global Game, a colossal around-the world race involving twenty-four teams, each with a twelve-year-old player; green pilots who assist players; yellow trackers, who capture players and take them to detentions centers for a 72 hour penalty; and red Stoppers, who will stop at nothing to stop players with their blowgun sleeping darts; all run by LORD, the mysterious League of Royalty Without Domains

Based on the popular children’s books of the same name, the MVP*: MAGELLAN VOYAGE PROJECT screenplay is a global adventure story, full of cliff-hanging action, mystery, wild chases, thrilling locales (New York, London, Paris, Stockholm, Helsinki, Russia, Tokyo, and Hong Kong), gripping international characters, a nail-biting conclusion; a crooked antagonist, Baron Von Sheepsbottom; and two strong young protagonists, Adam and Meredith, who overcome all obstacles using wit and will power.
